Refund Policy
Refund Policy
Last Updated: May 1, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all programs, tours, and services offered by Sinowise Discovery, including but not limited to study tours, cultural exchanges, business study missions, corporate events, executive living support, and related offerings.
1. Booking & Deposit Rules
Service registration is valid only after the deposit or full payment is completed and the system confirms the order.
The deposit is used to reserve service quotas, confirm resource reservations (accommodation, tickets, venue resources, personnel, etc.).
After successful payment, users will receive an official service confirmation and, where applicable, an itinerary arrangement notice.
2. Voluntary Cancellation by Client
Cancellation 30 days or more before start date: Refund 80% of total paid fees (20% retained to cover planning, administrative, and preliminary reservation costs).
Cancellation 15–29 days before start date: Refund 50% of total paid fees.
Cancellation 7–14 days before start date: Refund 20% of total paid fees.
Cancellation less than 7 days before start date: No refund.
(For services with different lead‑time requirements, the specific cancellation schedule will be set forth in the individual service confirmation.)
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
No refund will be granted in the following situations:
Voluntary abandonment of participation, early departure, or absence without reason after the service has commenced;
Client or participant is dismissed from the program or event due to violation of rules, misconduct, endangering group safety, or failure to comply with staff management;
Failure to participate due to incomplete personal documents, visa problems, personal physical discomfort, or personal schedule conflicts;
Partial items in the itinerary are not experienced voluntarily, and no supplementary compensation or partial refund will be provided.
4. Service Adjustment & Official Cancellation
We reserve the right to adjust or cancel the program or service in the following situations, without default liability:
Insufficient enrollment or participation to support normal service operation;
Force majeure factors including extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemic control, government policy adjustments, transport disruption, and safety risks;
Unavoidable resource changes such as venue closure and key personnel schedule adjustment.
If we officially cancel the service before commencement, we will refund all remaining fees after deducting actual non-recoverable costs. If partial itinerary adjustment is made (replacing accommodation, transportation, or activity links) without reducing overall service quality, no refund will be provided.
5. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for breach of contract or compensation for service delays, itinerary changes, or program suspension caused by force majeure events. The refund scheme under force majeure will be handled according to actual residual costs and industry common practices.
6. Refund Processing Cycle
After the refund application is confirmed to be compliant, we will complete the refund review within 7–15 working days, and the funds will be returned through the original payment channel. The actual arrival time is subject to the processing rules of the payment institution.
7. Transfer & Reschedule Rules
Clients can apply for one free reschedule or quota transfer 15 days before the service starts (subject to our confirmation of availability). If the application is less than 15 days in advance, it will be handled according to the cancellation rules.
